Instructions for gluing

These instructions do not apply to FX Factory Effex, Kutvek, SpeedStickers, Motostyle-MX and Scrub Designz decals, which are not applied wet!!! The instructions for these can be found below.

Instructions for gluing the AMR and Invision decor sets.

The following accessories are required:

1. spray bottle <-- available here in the store
2. a soft cloth (lint-free) <-- available here in the store
3. a squeegee <-- is available here in the store
4. a hair dryer
5. a pair of scissors
6. cleaning agent that removes grease and oil <-- available here in the store

1. the preparation

Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be covered and remove any
residues of grease, oils and adhesives. A special cleaner
is available here in the store.

2. check the decor parts

Before you start gluing, first get an idea of where which decor part belongs.

4. attaching the decor kit

When the respective decor part is in its correct position, use the squeegee to remove the water from under the decor.

A hairdryer can also be used on the edges to make the film more elastic and more snug.

IMPORTANT!
Keep the hair dryer at a sufficient distance from the decor, otherwise it could be destroyed by excessive heat.

5. drying

Before you put the vehicle back into operation, at least 24 hours (preferably 48 hours) should have elapsed after application. This ensures complete drying.

6. finish and have fun

The vehicle can be high-pressure cleaned, but care should be taken with the edges.

No guarantee can be given for subsequent removal of the decor.

PREPARATION

1. before applying the decal, check the fit of the decal parts on your vehicle. Check where the individual parts fit on your vehicle before you start gluing the decor.

2. remove old decal kits or stickers, remove the old adhesive residue. This is best done with the universal cleaner from the store. The plastic must be very clean and degreased.

INSTALL YOUR NEW DECAL KIT

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY WATER WHEN GLUING THE DECAL SET!

I recommend installing the smallest parts of the decal set first. This will give you a feel for how the decal can be applied to the vehicle.

1. now peel off the backing paper for approx. 10 cm, fold it back again and crease the paper. Then place the corresponding part on the area of your vehicle to be covered. Press this corner of the decal lightly and then check the alignment of the decal, make sure everything fits, mounting holes and ventilation slots etc. should be correct.

2. once everything is correctly aligned, start to pull the protective paper from the back of the decor piece. Apply the decor smoothly to the plastic piece by piece, making sure that there are no bubbles. Take your time with this work. Take as much care as you can not to touch the adhesive side of the decor set.

3. pay particular attention to the edges, these are the most vulnerable areas of the decor set. Once the decor piece is fully applied, press everything firmly from the inside out. I recommend using a soft microfiber cloth or a felt squeegee, both of which are available in the store. The decor is flexible to a certain extent and can be warmed up with a hair dryer to adjust it. This must be done very carefully and not too hot.

4. there are more curves on various vehicles, it is not magic to stick the decor correctly there too. It is only a matter of time, use a hair dryer if necessary as described above.

5. as soon as everything is glued, leave your vehicle for about 48 hours. The vehicle can then be moved for show driving. The longer it stands the better, try to keep the vehicle in a stable temperature range. Recommended here is 20 C. (68 F.) or more if possible to ensure the best results.
6. you have now installed your decor kit like the pros. With a little patience, there are no problems in the application that cannot be overcome. Now show the decal to your buddies, colleagues or friends but don't forget to send me pictures of it.

The vehicle can be pressure washed, but care should be taken with the edges.

No guarantee can be given for later removal of the decor.
